The Unholy Behaviour series was originally written by Arran Dutton with television in mind, but was adapted and produced in radio format and made available as a free podcast. Audio Factory is currently remastering the series after initially releasing Unholy Behaviour in April 2011, taking the opportunity to make changes and improve the series after gathering feedback from the series’ 1,700+ Twitter following (www.twitter.com/unholy_jesus) and other listeners that we attracted through social networking promotion.

The series starts with God, who is angry as constant feuding between Jesus and Moses is disrupting the peace and tranquility that he has created in Heaven. He decides to punish the pair by sending them back to Earth to share a grimy flat in the suburbs of London and hatches a plan to give them a torrid time on modern day Earth.

Jesus initially succumbs to a playboy lifestyle of sex, drugs and alcohol, after discovering that he can use special powers to make his trip back to Earth an extremely pleasant one, whilst making Moses’ life a living hell. However, this was all part of God’s plan and when he takes Jesus’ powers away from him, he discovers he needs Moses, as both of them have to adapt quickly and earn money to survive in modern day society. How they fare will be crucial in proving to God that they can work together and earn their passage back to Heaven, although the great man makes it difficult for them by misguiding them and throwing obstacles in their way.

Audio Factory plans to complete the remastering of the series by June 2012, but for now you can listen to samples in the player above. They are:

Episode One – “Satan is worried about Hell becoming overcrowded”

Episode Two – “Jesus inadvertently goes dogging”

Episode Three – “Satan hands in his notice to God”

Episode Four –  ”An angry Jesus fumes as Moses has been sleep shepherding”

Episode Five –  ”Jesus tells Moses about the time he met a Dragon”
