Comedy Sketches For Community Radio

Flash required

In June 2011, Audio Factory was commissioned to produce a series of comedy sketches for Glastonbury FM, which are to be aired on three dates in September. Three sketches written by local writer and actress Pat Mead were produced for broadcast on the community radio station with Robert Prince, Sarah Knight and Imogen Drakeford joining Pat in performing the material.

The sketches were put forward to Glastonbury FM as part of a scheme to provide an outlet for people in the local area who had shown an interest in producing, writing, directing and performing speech content for radio. Arran Dutton directed “The Fiance” and wrote the introduction and supporting material for the programme, while Robert Prince directed “The Library” and Sarah Knight directed “Glastonbury Festival” with Dave Perry co-directing and producing all of the material.

Audio Factory is now running a competition in association with Glastonbury FM so that writers in Glastonbury, Street and the surrounding areas can submit comedy sketches with six entrants having their sketches produced and performed by our team.
