Pepe the Puppy is a three part online mini series that is currently in production. The series will be Audio Factory’s first visual material and will be released on the Internet and made available through video sharing and social networking websites.

The comedy series revolves around Pepe, a grumpy foul-mouthed Puppy who believes that he is being mistreated by his owners. Of course, he isn’t, in fact they love him dearly, but Pepe fails to see this, especially when he compares his life to that of arch nemesis Dean, a Bichon Frise who is spoilt by his owners. Each episode sees Pepe plot revenge on his owners and failing miserably.

The series is being co-directed by Dave Perry and Pepe the Puppy writer Arran Dutton, while the latter’s pet dogs have been cast as Pepe and Dean, who are voiced by Martin Rock and Gary McKinven. An announcement on the actors playing Pepe’s owners will be made in the near future.

As the project is being shot using real footage of animals with voices dubbed over the top, this project also showcases how Audio Factory can supply voice audio for animation and video. Having recorded Pepe and Dean’s audio content in the studio, we have created voice tracks for individual sections of dialogue, which can then be incorporated into the piece. Shooting will commence in October.
