Arran Dutton – Writer/Director

Writer/director Arran Dutton co-founded Audio Factory with technical audio content producer Dave Perry after building a strong professional relationship during their work on the comedy series Unholy Behaviour. Having written the series, Arran also co-produced and directed all five of the episodes.

The company’s portfolio is growing and Arran has been involved in each project, gaining experience working as a script editor on the radio pilot for Sheepsbere Bay and held producer roles on Audio Factory’s remake of Piers Paul Reed’s The House on Highbury Hill, live music programme Live at Orchard and the audio book for Joanna Price’s novel A Means of Escape. He also has further writing and directorial credits on online mini series Pepe the Puppy, surreal short The Visitor and a number of radio advertisements. In addition to this he is also the owner/editor of Street/Glastonbury based magazine ‘The Basis’, which he also writes for.

Dave Perry - Audio Engineer/Content Producer

Audio Factory co-founder Dave Perry is the lead producer on all of the company’s projects, drawing experience from his education having studied Audio and Music Production at Buckinghamshire New University. Graduating with a first class honours degree, Dave’s knowledge and expertise has been the driving force behind the success of Audio Factory.

Dave also mixes and produces music for various artists included Los Angeles based rapper LP, while he has vast experience working in technical theatre where he has worked on shows ranging from theatre drama to stand-up comedy, working with some of the UK’s biggest touring companies and names like Lee Evans and Stephen K Amos.
