This surreal audio short is a one-scene play that follows a conversation between adult entertainment industry casting director, Brian, (Robert Prince) and Zalfatron (Gary McKinven), an alien who has travelled to Earth in an attempt to get an acting role in a pornographic film. In all honesty we produced it in amongst our recording sessions for a bit of fun. It’s pretty odd, but we like it.

‘The Visitor’ was written and directed by Arran Dutton and produced by Dave Perry.

SHEEPSBERE BAY – Comedy/Drama Radio Pilot Written & Directed by John Stephens

Sheepsbere Bay is a radio series that follows the lives of locals at The Whale & Anchor, a pub in a fictional Dorset seaside town that is struggling in the current economic climate. Audio Factory has produced the comedy/drama pilot on behalf of Somerset based writer and director John Stephens, who has brought together a fantastic cast from across the South West.

Sheepsbere Bay is a funny and warm, albeit crude comedy with colourful characters that provide plenty of laughs. The pilot will initially be made available to download in podcast format with a view to being commissioned for radio. Recording took place on September 13th, 2011 and the episode is now available to download or stream on our website. Live at Orchard featuring Hundred Days

It gives everybody at Audio Factory great pleasure to announce that the pilot episode of our live music programme Live at Orchard is now available to download. The session featuring the phenomenal Yeovil based hard rock outfit Hundred Days, was recorded at Barton St David’s Orchard Studios ahead of the release of their latest album Mission Exodus.

While we have initially released the programme in podcast format, Live at Orchard will be broadcast on a number of community radio stations across the South West in the near future. An announcement with more details on when and where it can be heard will be made in the coming months.
